I Wish to Go to the Beach 

Little Luiza dreamed of a special setting to enjoy her favorite food. At six years old, Luiza is battling Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia. She’s been attending a treatment center since age three but all the while shows a great sense of hope, always flashing a unique and unbelievable smile. Her trip was long and she dozed off on the way, dreaming, then waking up anxious for the destination. After a short while, Luiza spotted the place of her dreams on the horizon and a bright new smile crept across her face.

The travellers were welcomed with an artist reception given by the Casa Grande Hotel Resort & Spa at the Cove Beach in Guaruja. Luiza and her family marveled at their surroundings, remarking at the beauty and luxury of every detail of the room. Soon after putting on some new clothes they had gotten especially for their first day at the beach. The magic began immediately. To touch the sand and feel the temperature of the seawater brought more smiles. Even the sun couldn’t compare to to the twinkle in Luiza’s eye, which was enough to warm the hearts of everyone involved in the realization of this magical day. After a walk to the water's edge and some searching for shells, it was time to build sand castles. Sitting in the sand, there was table and a chair so that Luia could realize her ultimate dream of enjoying her favorite food on the shore. It was a perfect day that ended with more smiles, peace, hope and love.
